What to do if you're unable to attend your swimming class?
To assist your teacher with preparing and planning for your class, please let us know before the start time if you are unable to attend your lesson. Your online account is the fastest way to cancel your booking. If you're unable to cancel using your account, please call your school

Our Team

Our Skilled Swimming Team

Undoubtedly State Swim's most valuable asset and our stand-out strength is our hand-picked team of enthusiastic and devoted swimming instructors, swimming coaches and supervisors. They are supported by a team of dedicated customer service, hygiene and maintenance and facilities management personnel.

We Love Teaching Children & Adults to Swim

Over the years, we have developed a strategy to attract hard-working, committed team members who love teaching children and adults water safety and swimming skills.

We are proud to be able to say that State Swim has one of the most experienced workforces in the aquatic education industry.  Our team members are all fully qualified to deliver lessons in the area in which they are working. We are affiliated with Active Training, a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) which specialises in delivering aquatic training to the Aquatic Education industry. Our instructors all hold either the Active Training Swimming Instructor qualification, the Austswim Teacher of Swimming and Water Safety qualification, or another nationally recognised aquatic education qualification. Many of our management staff are qualified swimming trainers who deliver these courses to new instructors via Active Training.

All of our staff are also first aid trained and hold a Working With Children Check (WWCC).

Our team looks forward to making your State Swim experience an enjoyable one! If you would like to learn more about the State Swim difference, you can read more about us, explore our history, find your nearest location, discover our facilities, or contact us directly.
