Let’s start at the beginning, together. Sow the seeds for a lifetime love of swimming and essential swimming skills. Here’s what you can expect from our water familiarisation programs.

Swim & Play includes two swimming programs for babies through to toddler/kindergarten designed to teach your swimmer water familiarisation, water safety, and essential skills. Swimmers start with learning a range of skills, including kicking, floating and submerging, and progress to jumping into the pool and solo swimming.

What happens in a Team Bronze lesson?

Team Bronze is the first level of our Teams program which gives swimmers an introduction to basic squad training techniques to further their stroke development, speed and endurance.

Team Bronze swimmers will swim between 1.5km and 2km during each session and will focus on stroke development, competitive starts, turns and finishes. Team Bronze swimmers have the opportunity to participate in our monthly Super Swims (time trials).

What Merit Awards will swimmers receive?

Each of the below skills will be required to be achieved in a set time:

  • 50 metre x 10 freestyle
  • 200 metre freestyle 
  • 100 metre individual
What happens when a swimmer graduates Team Bronze?

Once swimmers have achieved Team Bronze merits, they will be promoted to Team Silver of our squad program.
