What Skills Will Swimmers Learn?
- Develop breath control
- Freestyle kick off the board
- Back and front floating
- Deep water safety skills
What Merit Awards Will Swimmers Receive?
- Freestyle (Torpedo) kick with board
What Happens When a Swimmer Graduates Torpedoes?
The "torpedo" kick is a very important fundamental skill in learning freestyle, as the stronger the kick, the easier it will be for the child when arm stroking is introduced in our Marlins swimming level.
